Cracking the goosebumps code, one story at a time.

Club Rivera

Right out the gate, Club Rivera’s “Rain is Still Fine” lays down a seriously smooth and polished vibe. The driving bassline immediately grabs your attention, and together with the steady acoustic drum beat, firmly sets the track’s tone. Jazzy key chords weave an atmospheric texture, beautifully complemented by the sweet vocals that enrich the harmonic landscape. The nicely detuned, sidechain-compressed synths introduce a pleasant euphoric lift in the chorus. Some might seek sunshine, but Rain is Still Fine.

In contrast, “Regret Not” showcases a more intricate approach to songwriting. The quicker tempo fuels an undeniably energetic groove, yet the keys still conjure their signature dreamy soundscape, this time enriched by delightful jazzy horn arrangements. The track reaches its climax with a slick and engaging guitar improv before the horns take over until the end. You’ll certainly Regret Not hitting play.
