Five Short Plays Loosely Linked By The Theme Of Crime [London Review]

On Saturday, we were given the opportunity to view in Drayton Arms Theatre in London, a selection of five short plays that center on the subjects of crime and the intricate connections between diverse individuals.

If you happen to view this at a later time, you can anticipate the following.

The first play explores the challenges faced by a couple of bank robbers, both in their criminal pursuits and in their personal relationship. The second play delves into the tension between two mobsters trying to extort money from a pub landlord. The third play explores the uncomfortable situation that arises when an old acquaintance comes to collect a debt. The fourth play takes the audience on a thrilling journey to Cuba, where a group of sailors smuggle cigars and rum in 1969. Finally, the last play explores the complications that arise when a group of bank robbers attempt to divide their spoils.

These five short plays, led by a trio of highly talented actors, are interconnected by the themes of crime, humor, and the complex dynamics between diverse individuals. Overall, it was a delightful evening.
